The University of Trento (UniTrento) is a research-intensive public university recognised for its excellence in teaching, research and international collaboration. She is Assistant Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Trento, with previous research experience as a fellow at the universities of Mainz and Erfurt. She served as project manager of the Jean Monnet project MoSE – Towards a More Social Europe and currently coordinates the Jean Monnet project GrACE – Green Europe: Active Citizenship and the Environment. She is also Principal Investigator of the PNRR-PRIN project Beyond Workism and a Work-Centered Society. She has extensive experience as a teacher trainer and research consultant, with a focus on learning ecosystems and innovative teaching methodologies in the humanities for secondary schools. As part of the Schools Beyond Regions and Borders initiative, she contributes to WP5 activities within the ARENAS project, drawing on her expertise in political philosophy and citizenship education. She is a secondary school teacher of English and a translator for international organisations, including FAO and EU institutions. She has extensive experience in coordinating innovative educational projects at national and international level, particularly in the field of citizenship education. Since its inception, she has coordinated the civic education initiative Schools Beyond Regions and Borders. Within the ARENAS project, she supports the work of the University of Trento by contributing to communication and dissemination activities and by mobilising the Schools Beyond Regions and Borders network to test educational materials developed under WP5, aimed at promoting education on otherness and tolerance and countering extremist narratives.
He is a former secondary school teacher of History and Philosophy, with experience as a visiting lecturer in Austrian schools and extensive expertise in educational practices, citizenship education, and school-based innovation. He directed the Fondazione Trentina Alcide De Gasperi from 2009 to 2015 and served as Senior Advisor to the Euregio Office of the Autonomous Province of Trento from 2016 to 2018. Since 2021, he has been project coordinator of the civic education initiative Schools Beyond Regions and Borders at the University of Trento, where he has contributed to the development and consolidation of the initiative’s activities and partnerships. Since 2025, he has been Chair of the initiative’s Scientific Committee. Within the ARENAS project, he contributes to the dissemination activities of the University of Trento and supports the involvement of the Schools Beyond Regions and Borders network in testing educational materials developed under WP5, aimed at promoting education on otherness, tolerance, and the prevention of extremist narratives.
