Creative Ideas

Creative Ideas is a non-governmental organisation from Riga, Latvia, and provides informal youth and adult education. It specialises in education, culture, society integration, rural development, and EU priorities. Creative Ideas organises training, workshops, exhibitions, and competitions and also prepares teaching materials and carries out research. Since its foundation, Creative Ideas has involved at least 1000 unique persons in various activities, introduced Latvians to other countries and cultures; and helped to integrate more than 600 migrants in Latvia. Creative Ideas has implemented more than 30 projects, of which more than half have been implemented in international partnerships.

Sanita Putniņa

Project Manager

Sanita is the Leader of WP4 which examines the Influence and Spread of extremist Narratives. Work in WP4 includes an assessment of the psychological drivers and impact of extremism in European citizens, an identification of extreme narratives of non-extreme political organizations in Europe and the design of practical instruments and guidelines for creation and operationalisation of tools in order to combat and mitigate distribution of extremist narratives in Europe. She is also responsible for the administrative co-ordination of the ARENAS projects implementation in Latvia. 

Alise Vītola, PhD

Researcher

Alise is working on WP4 (Influence and spread of extremist narratives) for tasks 4.1.; 4.2.; 4.3. These tasks address:

  • Collecting data and compiling corpora for in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Assessment of the psychological drivers and impact of extremism in European
  • Response of Non-extreme political parties to extremist narratives

Sigita Zankovska-Odiņa

Sigita is working on WP4 (Influence and spread of extremist narratives) for tasks 4.1.; 4.2.; 4.3. These tasks address:

Rasma Pīpiķe

Senior Researcher

Rasma is working on WP4 (Influence and spread of extremist narratives) and is the Leader of Task 4.3 examining the Response of Non-extreme political parties to extremist narratives.
